Almost.... I bet we start seeing some show back up as fall sets in. I've spoke with a couple of posters that are still around as well.
I'm starting to get a little more time on my hands.

I have been pretty tied up with both knee replacements Oct 2021 and continued physical therapy... went back in because right one has been extremely painful from the straightening and all. Lost my mom in June 2021 and my dad in Sept 2021, then the knees made for a crappy few months. Trying to get the estate worked out and settled ... went into June of this year and house still not sold... friends have had surgeries, neighbor had both knees done 2 months ago... trying to keep up with the farm stuff here with my son... not going as smoothly as I think it should... we poured a concrete pad for a bunker for silage and got it filled finally... cost through the roof for the concrete... 48 + yards to do a 26x93 slab, plus a water trough pad that was leaking with cracked broken concrete and had to be completely redone. Corn was very good yield and put sorghum-sudan grass chopped on top and sealed it up this week. Still milk testing, planned to retire before the surgery... but we all know that none of the younger generation wants to work at physical work anymore... and they want a small fortune to do so.... after 30 years it is hard to walk away from people that have practically become family... So, still at it. Big farm (for here) of 240 sold out in March but picked up a smaller herd of 70 that the tester quit... lost a tester in NC unexpectedly also... we are a dying breed.... Been making hay here and feel very fortunate... So many places are drier than a desert. It hurts to see/read about so many cutting back and others going out. The prices of things is killing everyone slowly. Fuel dropped for a couple months... only $1.00-1.25 a gallon MORE than 2 years ago... and now back up from 3.00 gal of gas, to 3.50 in the last 2 weeks. Diesel went up the same 50 cenmts or more and the co-op guy said look for it to go even higher... like another 1.00 gallon or more here.... Anyone that votes for any of the idiots that have been in office or are in cahoots with the green new deal/climate change/renewable energy go all electric CRAP PARTY ought to be made to live in Ca with all those idiots and see what it is like... and NOT deliver anything to them if it is on a "fossil fuel" vehicle... Fall calving now and things are going okay.... so far. We are not hurting for pasture either.... we have been blessed.

Sorry to hear that about your parents. Seems like it's sure been a rough couple years for a lot of folks I know.
Those knee replacements don't sound like fun. I was just talking with one of my aunt's who had hers done a few months back.
I hope you get it all worked out soon.
When you say you seal your feed, is that with a tarp in a pit?
