It's the driest this time of year I can remember. Almost always get some decent moisture in September. I think maybe we got 0.5 inch at one point, but followed by a string of 90 something degree days it just doesn't last and it being already dry on top of that.
Sand burs and ants are about the only things that did well this year. Probably weaning calves this next week and shipping them on. Generally retain through the winter.
Got a chance for some rain tomorrow, sure praying it happens.

We got a bit last night, but we need a lot more.

We got 2 tenths out of it. Not good.
Preg checked 82 head today. 4 were open. I thought it might be worse.
Next group I expect will be.
