If anyone is looking, its a lot cheaper than I thought it would be. A buddy told me about this company Eastern insurance. They have a great rating and far far cheaper than the nra insurance and far better coverage than your home owners insurance. Mine is only 180/year.

Does the insurance company need pictures and serial numbers on every gun that's insured?

Does the insurance company need pictures and serial numbers on every gun that's insured? Nope. Only on any that have a value of 10k individually or more. So say you have 20 guns worth a total of 25k, you declare that value. Super easy |

Wouldn’t a home owners policy cover all of them? You can get riders on your insurance for them, but its way more expensive and doesnt anything that happens in your car, away from your home, at the range etc |

A far better policy than a homeowners policy to insure items like guns and jewelry is a personal articles policy, a form of inland marine coverage.
