Haven't had my F-250 very long (10250) and I've never really settled into it. Things are just not handy like my 2500 was and I'm missing that. Also, I hate the rough ride as the 2500 had a much better one. Looking to drop down to the 1500 and I don't know if I can get close to right by trading, but I don't figure I'll know until I check it out.

I assume its a 17 or 18 model. I would think it should be real close on a trade down to 1500 comparable.

Well, my home town Chevy guy will never need to worry about me crossing his door again. Caught him lying to me and wanting to put the big shaft up my ass. Left there and went to the GMC dealership in the next town east. After an hour or better sending the sales guy back to the sales manager and the sales manager coming in the office we finally got to a reasonable difference using the Ford as a trade-in. I'll probably sign on the dotted line tomorrow.

I know it sounds remarkable! lol This guy and his family go way back as my grandad and dad did deals with this guy's dad. He's told the truth when it wasn't necessary and there hasn't been many times we haven't been able to make a deal. He was respected in this town for his straight up deals. This is why it surprises me.

I've noticed in the town's around here it always seems the out of town people get better deals than the locals. I think they think they have the locals in their pockets but are willing to deal with the out of towners. I haven't bought a vehicle locally in 20 years.

I'm done buying new, you can find less than a year old with less than 10k miles real easy here. Let someone else eat the depreciation.

We try to support local but they were not only $10K more than Wichita, they were jerks. Owner of the dealership actually hung up on me when he followed up & I told him I purchased somewhere else.

Makes you wonder how they ever made it to begin with .
