1/4-20 nuts and bolts. I can take some pics later, but basically -Cut barrels in half lengthways -take two halves and bolt together at the ends -take three halves and bolt those together end to end to end -turn the two-half group upside down, so cut side is on the ground make the trough by sitting the three-half string on top of the two-half string and drill holes through both layers. Use the bolts with flat washers on both sides so it doesnt pull through as easy. I use lock nuts to eliminate loosening of the nuts. Some of these are five yrs old. When they freeze with ice just turn them over and stomp. The ice falls right out. They don't turn over easy, wont cut legs, easy to drag around, and cheap. I coulnd't have found a better/cheaper trough material. I get the barrels for free. I think I use about 16 sets of bolt/2 flat washers/nut per trough.
Found one, maybe it will be bright enough to see
