What all do you folks do to finish beef off, and at what age/size? How do you start them?

I start with mine at weaning and push them be ready at 14 to 15 months. Feed feed feed.

Pretty much what Randy said. We have several rations. But if you’re just going to finish one out for yourself to slaughter, just pump the feed.

Ours have been around 14, or 15 months or so old. They have been spring born calves, I winter them with other calves and don't do anything special until a few months before, then I start building them up slowly with heavier amount of feed. I have put some powdered milk replacer on their feed at that point too.
