If you could see some of the damaged fence I’ve patched, especially on leased ground out of sight from the road, you probably wouldn’t even believe it. Hell Fence might not even talk to me anymore.
Few years ago, a neighbors cows crawled over his old net wire fence and mashed what little bit of wire that was there flat. Ruined. I ran them out of the road and put them back in. Didn’t have anything to work with and no phone service. I had a roll of baling twine. So I “built” an 8 strand baling twine fence about 15 foot long. Neighbor left it like that for 3 years before he fixed it and the cows never got out there. Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.

Wishi had pictures of the tractor tires I use to make fence and gates and patch holes.

I've even pulled tail hair off my saddle horse to tie wires to the post. Any port in a storm.

Like an older neighbor said once check for tracks if they're not getting out there it's ok

I've got one of those. It's not uncommon to leave out in the morning to a couple hundred sheep grazing the roadside. He tells me "I just can't find where their getting out.
I finally told him. Charles, maybe better to look for where their not getting out.
