Yaupon, flood borne debris, and juniper usually patch mine pretty good.

Panels are for corrals only. Anything non pressure gets baling twine. It takes some doing to find good baling twine since everyone net wraps everything around here so the twine is usually ready to break before it ever gets on the fence.

You see okie, in this particular instance, a big ol pecan tree fell on that gate and brace set up. I pulled a newer gate off an interior pasture to replace the bent up one. Then I thought to myself, I need to patch this hole in the fence, so I laid the bent gate up over the hole thinking I'd get around to patching it in a few days. Well, life gets in the way and it seems to hold them in so, it hasn't been fixed properly yet.
I know you guys do it too, I've never seen a farm that didn't have a gate wired to the post, or bailing twine patching a fence or some other less than standard fix. Just like the old farm truck you need to jiggle the handle to get the door to open or the tractor you need a screw driver to start.

I have customers ask me all the time if I can haul that old gate off when I replace it. Why yes I can and I won’t even charge you! Trees never fall when you got time to patch fence. The only real problem is they make such a good temporary fix it does tend to get permanent.

Let me get a free hour guys and I'd love to move some stuff over from the other place. And since you can post pics easy enough here. Maybe I can start doing that again. And I promise to never try to muddy my opinions by trying to sell you something. Right now I'm still running free and rampant...and the hunting is good....wink
You should see my pens.....heard of the mechanics car.
