Feel free to post up anything you like.
This is a few pics of my family logging in AR in the '20's. Hard life, looks to me like. Pardon the skewed photos

I enjoy looking at history. Show how easy we have it today and how tough they had to be.

I have these hanging on the wall at my cabin on the farm, these are AI receipts from the dairy that use to be here in the 1950,s. Can't believe they actually AI'd on a dairy in the 50's. They aren't SAV America, but they are AI. 😁 random org dice

Didn't pass the 5th grade or so in school, but read all the time and taught himself calculus. But point being, I went with him to go see his grandmother at the time. We started looking through his library and found an old book about breeding from the 40's. First paragraph was something along the lines of "the age old practice of Artificial Insemination". Really caught us both off guard. I don't think most of us really appreciate how long it's been utilized.

That picture brought back a great memory. My grandfather died when I was 3 months old but he had fixed a corner post with huge rocks holding it down. It stayed there for years after i got old enough to notice. Was probably put up in the 1940's
