I have been real impressed with the Bauer brand tools. Have built 2 barns and replaced a couple roofs with the 1/4 impact , the 1/2 impact is used hard also.

You know, everyone usually trashes their stuff, sometimes with good reason, but we have several small tools from HF that we are pretty happy with
We retired from remodeling and full size furniture last year, so our tools don't get nearly the workout they used to.
Recently bought the Bauer Random Orbital that we have been pleasantly surprised with, especially given the price. It bogs down real fast at the slower speeds, but on the higher speeds it just as good as previously owned MUCH higher priced sanders.
We had a Dewalt before this Bauer, it lasted a pretty long time but like all of them the pad wore out after about 4 years. We had a Festool before that, it only lasted about 18 months before the pad broke . We can buy two of the Bauer Sanders before paying for just the replacement pad for the Festool and the replacement pads for the Dewalt weren't much less either.
If we were young and just starting in a trade, we would probably look pretty seriously at tooling up with their cordless line of tools. The Dewalt tools served us really well, but when they went to the 20v and abandoned the contractors who had invested thousands $$ in their 18v tools, it left a pretty sour taste for us.

I really like the impact sockets . I have a home made 4 ft cheater bar with a pipe on it. Not broken one yet. And the Quinn pliers have been good. They usually get lost be I can wear them out.

I sure hope the HF AC manifold gauges and vacuum pump are good tools.

I have had the oxy act kit for several years. It's most likely made by Victor. They are identical otherwise. Go ahead and buy good hoses the one's that come with it only last a couple years.

I use a lot of their hand tools and find they work fine for no more than I use them. I’ve also had good luck using their ball joint installation and removal set. Makes changing u joints a breeze.

It looks silly, but we use this thing every day for what we do now.

I Just picked up a 1" gas water pump there yesterday. Used it twice so far with very good results. Hoping for a solid 2 years out of it at least. Only $169 on sale.

I bought a predator generator last year that I put 40+ hrs on during the storm. It's a Honda clone. it has cranked every time, I crank it a couple times a month to charge up the battery.

The 3500 seems to be a very good generator. Very quiet and fuel efficient being an inverter with eco throttle. We have a few hundred hours on ours and it was mounted on top of the boat as a replacement till I got the new diesel gens set installed after fish season. We also have a 2" Predator trash pump that we use to pump liquid fertilizer with that is still working great also.

I bought the Predator 3500 to use to power tools while I built my cabin at the farm. I've had it about 6 months, it was very quiet, fuel efficient, and started every time until two weeks ago when it blew up. Ain't had a chance to take it back yet, I guess we'll see how much I like HF when I take it back to them.
