We've had a ridiculous amount of rain but it dried up enough to get our hay cut/baled/moved. First time since we've lived here our watershed lake breached the emergency spillway & was dangerously close to going over the dam. It holds 155 million gallons of water at "normal" level; can't imagine how much is in there now. Farmers are struggling with harvest. I'm amazed we haven't had an outbreak of foot rot with all the mud but so far so good.

Well, here we go again...
We personally aren't flooded but just southwest of here is. Major populated town. My daughter and grandson are evacuating. Some 8-10 inches fell overnight in that region.
I am SOOO glad we didn't get hit again, that would have devastated us. I don't believe those rivers/creeks will flood us out as it moves.

Gotta love Oklahoma weather. I left for town. It was 96, sunny and still. Forty five minutes later it's 78, the sky is black, my trash can is on the back fence three hundred yards from where it was. The screen door on an outbuilding is folded in half and the power is blinking on and off.
