How the heck do you pick out a good sweet and ripe pineapple? They all look and feel the same sitting in the produce section , but they definitely are not.

Not to hard not to soft. Most of the time the top will not be bright it will show some wear around the edges. Those will be juicy and sweet

You can smell a pineapple and if its ripe you can smell the fruit right through the skin.
