Anyone done this. I have vacuum pump and manifold gauges. It looks like I can purchase the new freon online. I might be wrong. What should gauge pressures be.

Fence, the refrigerants run at 2 completely different pressures. You could run into a lot of problems. Bare minimum, I think you'd have to change pressure switches. More than likely compressor, evap and condensor as well. 410a runs at a much higher pressure. So much so, I'd make sure your gauges/hoses are rated for it.

My stash has run dry. Had me thinking about switching. I don't like being dependant on a serious company. I'm pretty much responsible for 3 houses here. Looks like I need to rethink.maybe I can find some r22 if I try harder...lol Thanks again.

No problems. You might could find some r22 that's been recovered for a better price.

Fence, we have been running air duster in a couple of vehicles for 3+ years. Buy the multipack from Sam's. About $11.00 for 4. Works great, is not regulated.
