I procrastinate on some things and other things it is my sole focus until I finish it. The latter usually pertains to hands on stuff. About 2 yrs ago I ordered the manuals for pesticide license. I opened them and read a little. Boring and does not hold my attention. I called yesterday to schedule the test next week because relying on others to get the one or two RUP I need is a pain. I dug the books out and started reading again this morning. Still boring and was sleepy after first page. Now I skip to the study quiz and take it to see if I need to read the chapter. I most definitely do need to read it. After nearly 35 yrs I still hate book work.

Same here. I've had the study guide sitting on my desk for over a year.

I'm the same way. I finally got my applicaters license in California after having the flu for a week so that by the time I got home from work I could stand to just sit there and read the material. I just got my cdl learners permit a few days ago. It took me a few weeks to study for it. My girlfriend kept saying she couldn't believe there was that much material to study just to drive a truck... There's not. I could read it all in one sitting if I could make myself sit that long. The worst part was that you had to read every word of every section because on the multiple choice test there would be three very similar correct answers to a common sense question but one of them would be verbatim out of the manual.

I filed an extension on taxes in April and still don't have everything together. It's been a tough year.

I wanted a licence to be able to buy Tordon, I passed with no prep, but it sure was tougher than I figured. If you want some spray that will kill get some Tordon and mix it with Remedy. It want kill the grass, but everything else is fried. It sure will fry those Cedar trees. I worked in a bank a few years and one of my jobs at another place was keeping the accreditation going, so at the time paperwork was what I like, but not so much now. There is no way in hell I could have passed this test without studying.
