How do you feel she made an error. The idea behind having them numbered is to keep from making a mistake.

She may be sick and pulled away from the herd? Or, came back in heat and a bull is following her around?

You thinking she made it on the trailer during the last culling and never updated the books?

Book keeper and the loader and sorter ain't always on the same page. Ain't that the truth. I get a little bent out of shape when my son loads a load to go to town @ 4 a.m., then the next day will ask me who is left to sell, and I say, well who did you take yesterday? ?? And I get a list that has 12 numbers with a note "couldn't read blk heifer and bwf heifer as they came off the trailer"....... WEEEEEEELLLLLLL, how the Hell do I know who they were then? ?

One good thing, I know we don't have the yellow tagged heifer, we tag all the bulls/steers with yellow. The heifers get whit or green according to who they belong to.
