I have 90 acres near Temple, Texas. About 65 acres in row crop, 20 in woods. Balance is roads and house, etc.
No animals at this time. I work 3 hours away, so only there every 3-4 weeks for a weekend.
That will be our retirement place. Run a few head, watch the sun go down every night.
Hawaian or mushroom and sausage. Mediun to thick crust, although a thin crust pepperoni with some Hatch green chilie on it comes in 3rd.

Definitely difficult to have animals if you were to live 3 hours from them. Some folks do, but I would have a hard time with it. Mushroom & pepperoni. Still can't get myself to try a Hawaian pizza. |

I bought my oats last year from a man in Rosebud. I love that little town. I ask about land prices and he said they were not to pricey up until 3 years ago when all the idiots started moving out of the Temple Austin corridor.
I will be looking him up again very soon. He raised Bob oats and they were cleaned and put in big bags right there in town.
