Dinner is at noon . Supper is at night. Damn Texans , can't teach em nuthin. Cause apparently you don't know nothing.. Breakfast is in the morning. At the breakfast table with the family. Lunch is midday. Out of a cooler on the back of a flatbed. Dinner is in the evening in the dining room. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DinnerDinner can mean lunch or supper. But it always means the largest most formal meal of the day.

Nice cat Fence, especially seeing the 50lb sack of feed behind it for scale.
Channel or blue..or hybrid?
(sure wish I could keep 'em in my pond..they come and go with the floods.)

How big is it? We have been catching them down on the Snake River. The ones we catch run about 8-12 pounds. So far I have not been impressed with them as far as eating goes.

I have them in my tanks up to around 30 . For the best eating. Around 11/2 to 3 pounds But still won't hold a candle to the saltwater fish on the table. I just can't get snapper to live in my tanks.

I always like catching the blues for the fight they put up...they were in O.C. Fisher Reservoir and could be caught most days right below the dam if any water at all was being released. For frying channel cats, I like them fairly small tho. I could keep bass almost everyday but never did care much for their taste so I toss 'em all back.........food source for when hard times really get here...again

Kinda like a big cat, they are much tastier if you get rid of that bone. I’m a fish eater. Meaning I will eat most all of them. Favorite is a shineye channel cat about 12” long. But I’m with Fence on the saltwater fish. They’re better. Maybe bc I don’t get to eat them as much.

I ate lots of fried mullet in Pcola Fla. It was scrumptious!!
I didn't care at all for the fried mullet gizzards, but fresh and uncooked, they made great catfish bait on the Escambia River..
