That’s interesting seeing that photo of him. I think the picture I remember he must of been a mature bull. The son we had was laid back and the daughters from him were that way too. Good females.

Pretty young in that picture. Looked different in later pictures. Still have a little Gendarme semen. I will use it someday.

That’s awesome you have semen on him still. You must have been at it for awhile. I mentioned those bulls to Limousin breeders on the other forum once and no one seemed to know what I was talking about.
East of me in south eastern Colorado there used to be a ton of Limousin breeders. A sale barn in La Junta really pushed them with special sales a lot. Not many left but if I ever got more commercial cattle I’d incorporate them into a 3 way cross. Black baldy Limousin X.

Been down a few days Ned. I have been at it a while. May Valley Co. May ranch used to run a lot of limousin, and still does. Running Creek and a few more still in Co. Some of the old bulls still work and i try and mix them in time to time.
