I'm so proud of my son. Fifteen and a half and home schooled up until about eight months ago. He ran track last year and did okay with it.
This year he decided he wanted to try football. I don't know that he's ever even watched a football game but that's what he wants to play so that's what we're doing. Today was the first practice. He went out and played and did everything they told him to do. I sat and watched him thinking he didn't get ANY of his athletic ability from me. The kid's a stud. Practice ended and everyone was leaving the field... except my son... He made a bee line to the other side of the field and started talking to the cute young thing that had been running around handing out water to them all. When he finally got to the truck I told him now he's gotta learn to play well enough to match his game.
