To the best of my knowledge we have 2 mulitple page threads that are bigger than any other. It has been interesting to watch for me, one is 18 pages and the other is 11. Both of these threads are like the who's who of lost loves. I don't get it, but I do understand.
The female version is, my man is a lying piece of sheit, runs around on me, but I love him anyway and I can't do without him, no matter what he does. The male version is, the girl I love is a manipulating slut, but she's got some good poontang and I'll do anything to keep her around. So goes the TV show of CFT vs CT.

I'm guilty of participating in both threads. I decided yesterday after posting some more on one of them that time could be better spent.

having been on there since 05 it's hard to let go . Enjoyed it for years....but that part is bout wore out..I'm not a ""in the click"" type person..I not going to be molded by folks I don't agree with...are made to conform..

It's better to rant in the open than behind closed doors. I don't think anything has been said that would not be said face to face. Personally I would say alot more to a couple of there faces. I have a hard time with folks that lie a do underhanded things.

Hold into the wind. I guess I don't get your point, unless it is that human nature dictates that we sometimes need to vent about negative issues in our life. This forum was started by, and is primarily populated with, both former and current members of CT. Many with long histories there, and not a few who have past personal relationships with some of the current offending parties mentioned in those threads. So, yes, it seems completely natural for members here to want to vent/rant about it. The reality is that, for the foreseeable future, there will continue to be comments here about the other place because there is a foundational connection between the two sites.
CFT will, I believe, continue to grow, and establish its own identity as it continues to acquire quality participants. That said, this:
might be a bit off-putting to some of those people you might like to see stick around to share their wisdom and experience.
Just my observation.

I hadn't even noticed the page counts. Had forgotten all about the 18 pager, until I saw this post. LOL Decided to check it out, seeing how it's still alive & well. |
