Any of the TX gang near Austin? One of my crew is flying to there tomorrow morning to be on a fire crew mixing retardant and loading planes.
I'm in the list but not ordered yet.

Am 2 hrs north of Austin and that is about as close as want to be. Since it's a traffic hellhole I avoid it like the plague. My condolences if you have to go there. If you ever escape to the north, give me a shout. Jed has my number. Maybe shoot me a text first.
Where are the fires?

And everybody thought we were crazy when we left Austin & bought a ranch in the middle of nowhere, KS. I loved the shopping & Lake Travis, traffic made me want to cry.

Got told that they are ordering brush trucks but I have no orders yet. Crew member says nothing going on today.

Winds blowing 15mph this morning....let a fire loose and it’s going to run. Been seeing a lot of scorched places along the highways lately but the winds have been calm.

Yes there is. I will get you the product name tomorrow. Spray it on and drive away. As long as it doesn't rain on it it's firesafe. Spray it on a house and it helps save it. Good part is you can do it a week before the fire and it's ok. |
