Nice cow for sure. I’d say she’s close to the Bonsma type wouldn’t you?. High shoulders, pointy head, angular.

Home raised gal of less famous breeding. I'd consider that Bonsma would appreciate most about her. The next step is to infuse her into the herd deeper with the son and daughters at hand. The hope is to make more of her. The genes will do what they want to do. But if you do not try you will never know.

Good looking cow. She is for sure worth making more of. I think using your own genetics is something too many people overlook when building a cow herd. Animals that excel under your management conditions should be strong building blocks for the future.

I would agree with that phenotype for sure. Reminds me of one I have. Will try to get a pic soon and compare notes.
