Dairy is rough everywhere right now. They're all going backwards just trying to hang on until enough of their friends and neighbors go out of business to reduce the supply in hopes of better prices.

I'm figuring corporate farms will take it all one day. Of course, I've been around a enough milk barns to know it's not for me.

The average dairy size is certainly growing but the big guys are struggling too. I know of a 9,800 milking with heifer ranch and enough farm ground to support it in CA that can be bought for less than it cost to build if you're interested.
