That is a great looking bull. If anyone were to eat a Pied steak, they would know the difference in this breed vs others. Can't beat it!!

I do wish the buyers would back off "Angus" only. They are buying black cattle of any breed, and assume that it has a lot of Angus background. Some of the steaks that are being sold so high are considered "Angus," so they sell at the highest grade. I wonder just how much Angus is actually in the meat.
Now that I have said that, I have purebred Angus. Only because that is what brings the highest dollar in my area. Anything that has other coloring is docked. I would love to raise Piedmontese cattle. My husband only wants Angus because of the prices as well. So looks like in my lifetime, that is all we will own.
I love the color and looks of the Pied cattle. And like I have said so many times before, the meat tenderness is out of this world.

His best friend had some Pied bulls and they were docked at the sale barn. That is such a joke that they do that. I do like the color of the Pied as well. I asked him at one point if we could try to raise black Pieds, but he said they would still be docked as the muscling would show there was one in the wood pile. Ugh!!

That's why I sold all my commercial cows except one. I do get calls for sides on occasion, but I'm not going there.

If he was red or black with a little blaze he’d be a nice bull😉
