Free bobble head night for the first 500 in the gate. Maybe watch Joey Gallo hit a HR. Strikeout 200 plus times but hit 30 homeruns this season. I swear to you i could hit 30 bombs if I swing for the fence every at bat and was only expected to hit .200 Free fireworks after the game though. Come to the ballpark and drop 500.00 We’ll be 20 games out of first but we’ll sell tickets, hotdogs and beer.

I thought Gallo broke his wrist a few months ago and would be out the rest of the season...

It’s just bs how they pump up a guy to sell tickets. In the Texas Rangers/John Daniels era that’s all it’s been. They don’t even attempt to win the division. Keep the payroll small. Pump up a player and sell tickets.
When Nolan was there they went to back to back World Series. Nolan left and they have gone back to the same old BS.
I can’t stand to watch them and get sick of the radio commercials when I’m in area

I listen to quite a few games win or lose on the radio because I like to listen to Eric Nadel. I used to go to a couple games a year. I haven't been since they run off Nolan. I have gotten to where I don't like crowds and over priced beer.

I think Loel Passe was still the radio broadcaster for the Astros the last time I went to see one of their games.

"That guy brings the game to life." Yes he does. He is old school. Calls the game as it should be. He can be very critical of the players, coaches and management in a way that doesn't anger anyone.
He comes on one of the local sports talk radio shows once a week and is excellent with stories and commentary on the game as a whole, not just the local hero's. Even when they used to come on "free" TV I would mute the sound and listen to the radio.
He makes the day go faster when listening to the game while in the tractor doing something monotonous like discing.
