Good looking bull. What was his name? Do you know who imported him?

Prince Pampadour. He was imported by a group that founded North American limousin. He could not be imported into the United States so he was brought to Canada. He was quarantined for several months before they could collect semen. Limousin breed in the US was started with semen from this bull. He was allowed to come into the US and was at a lot of the big stock shows. He was finally brought to the US and died here in the states.

Interesting. I’ve heard of a few breeds getting their start in the US the same way. Imported into Canada and semen sold in the US. Politics I’m sure.
