I find it interesting that no where in the article did it mention race. From that, and considering what previous accounts of guns used in different scenarios, and from the seeing all the witnesses and the neighbors, I would hazard a guess that they were all black. If there had been a white person defending his home and the would be robbers were black, it would have been announced from the highest rafters. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying the person defending himself is wrong, and I don't care if he was white, black, brown, green or a martian. I applaud his wanting to defend what is his. If the would be robbers did shoot at the 3 they were attempting to rob, then I have no sympathy. There comes a time where we are going to have to use more lethal force if we are ever going to get the point across that if you try to take what is mine, if you try to hurt me or mine, then there is a consequence to pay. For way too long, the whole justice system has been leaning to the far left of lenient to the one committing a crime. A few more examples like this may start some of these low life idiots that maybe they better find another way to get money or whatever. Today at 15 and 16, they may be "poor little teenagers", but they are not young and dumb like was implied. It is past time that we have to make people responsible for their actions. If they are doing something wrong, immoral, illegal, hateful, or hurtful, then there will be a price to be paid. I feel sorry for their families because yes they were too young to die.... but not if they were too stupid to realize that they were doing something very wrong. And at that hour of the morning, the parents should have some responsibility, because they should have known where they were. At 4 a.m., if you are not on your way to or from work, then you are most likely out looking to get into trouble.

The news was complaining that only one had a gun and it wasn't fair that all the little Africans ended up dead. A viewer pointed out that the homeowner just handed out two other participation trophies.

Need to give the homeowner a raise and a promotion IMO.

I feel that anyone trying to get access to my home with a gun is planning on using it. Not a good time to play "what if" when it happens or to start second guessing what to do. I think if anyone is accessing your house while you are in it, gun or no gun, he is planning on harming you. They don't like witnesses. I don't like invasions.

the liberals call these people "unannounced visitors"
in Boston they are legally allowed to break into your home.. as long as they 'are just trying to find a place to sleep'..

They are apt to sleep for a very very very VERY long time if they break in to my home, especially after the sun sets.
