Except they're mother/daughter. Cupid, in the front, was born in '12 and Clover (first calf heifer this year) was born in '17. Even the markings on their bags are almost identical. Easy keepers, great mamas, raise nice calves and an awesome lineage that always calves within the first 3 weeks of spring calving. Fortunately they didn't inherit the "fat gene" from their matriarch, the infamous Steamroller

Nice WF cow and heifer.......did you and your husband have any trouble agreeing on the names? He named one cow 8 years ago and it's a stupid name so he's banned. She's our quintessential red headed step child, compliments of the neighbors bull, and you can spot her a mile away. Yes, she has a pink nose and tongue but he named her Pink Tongue. Seriously??? Plus they're really my girls. That said, he is the one that started giving the bulls salty names, I just continued the tradition.

They are twins... From 1975. My twin boys and my father. A year or so later... me, the twin boys and my daughter. (wife wouldn't let me hold our newborn boy at the same time) where did the years decades go?
