IMO, the All Natural burger from Hardees/Carl Jr. had an unpleasant flavor. Like you would imagine an old camel would taste like. That meat came from Australia. We are now being inundated with cull cow meat from Australia, and no labeling to make the consumer aware that it's not raised in the USA. Just one example.

How can it be cost effective to ship hamburger from Australia to the US unless the government is subsidizing the Australian cattlemen? The Australian's live good and have a real government, we should be able to compete with them in a fair market. The south American countries that have a corrupt government and little or no standard of living are the one's who we can't compete with.

Currency standardization or tariffs or both would resolve much of the import issues. Our market is still manipulated in that commodities are very strongly suppressed. But I believe there a plans to address it and thus better times ahead. There's a reason that this is getting headlines now.
