yea.. I'd really like to see massive factories all over pumping out fake food .. and not have a huge impact. Where are they going to get all these vegetables to feed the world? Who is even going to harvest all this? Do they know how labor intensive that is? Do you know how much energy it takes to grow greenhouse foods?

So they want to replace.. plants.. hay, corn, etc... with.. plants.... and instead of having cows turn it into beef.. WE are going to process it and turn it into.. a thing. a very processed, put together POS.. thats not even good for you.

SOUNDS PRETTY DANG REASONABLE AND EFFICIENT!!!!

Someone needs to bring up the fact that 87% of all "agriculture" land is suitable only for grazing. Eliminate cattle and where are the replacement pounds of protein coming from? They aren't making more land. I know that their argument will be the land used to grown feed for cattle. OK, how about the pounds of protein that walked off the truck going into the feed yard. Those grass fed pounds. Or the pounds put on by cattle using by products. I know here in the PNW the major feed areas are close to potato processing plants. Cows eat potato waste. Also vegetable processing waste. Distillers waste from the ethanol they want...... etc etc.

Someone needs to be shouting this to the moon. The NCBA sure isn't doing it.

People are waking up to realize how much BS the media and anti's has spread.

I dont have time time to locate it, but I think if spent a little time, you would find one of the first times the USDA came out with recommendations to limit the amount of meat we consume was based in BS and the person heading it was a vegetarian.

Who develops the food guidelines taught in schools?

Remember the food pyramid? Where did meat go?

These groups have been at it for quite a while. They've made an impact, but now it's our turn to educate the public.
