Since I traded down to a 1/2 ton I need a lift kit of some kind. I loaded two in the front of the trailer yesterday to take to the farm and my GMC did some major squatting. Really need something to help with that without losing the cushy ride it has. Suggestions welcome.

Airbags are the ticket for keeping a soft ride. I put Firestone bags with an onboard compressor on my 95 3/4 ton Dodge and I loved them. Pump them up from the cab when your hauling heavy and deflate them when your empty, best of both worlds and not terribly expensive or hard to install.

Air bags have been in my head and controlling them from inside the truck would be an added plus.

I got mine from a local suspension guy, but I've seen similar kits at Summit racing equipment, look at their website they have a good selection.
