The numbers are BS. A paramedic friend of mine said a guy he knew called the number to discuss his symptoms. Lady on the line said, yep, you probably have corona. He said ok, were do I go to test for it. She asked if he had contact with anyone positive. He said no. So she wouldn't set him up with testing. Nothing is adding up. I dont think we have the L form and there's more to the positive cases being reported. I know a guy that knows a guy that has a brother that said his friend told him that he heard from a neighbor that saw a man that said he had covid-19 but couldn't get tested. Lol.... your still salty I see. GFY

Sounds like there is a run on that medication and soon to be a shortage on that as well. Must be something to the stories. As far as testing goes a practice here that usually sees 150-200 people a day gets 5 tests a week max and that is a fact not a rumor. Had 9 to get them to this point for the last 21/2 weeks. So yes screening is very involved and no not everyone is getting tested. Not sure what is happening in Italy but as whole this thing is pretty odd. 4 days since a new case in Whuhan.

My husband's friend just called him as he went down to Clarksdale Mississippi to pick up a truck for the company that Kevin used to work for. He said that there were no cars on the interstate, only tractor trailer rigs. He said the town was almost shut down with only pharmacies and Walmart was open.
This morning the termite company that checks our house every year came several months early. Probably while they had a heathy crew, people still had money in their pockets and before they shut them down.

You may not remember or have heard, but many drugs went on backorder for extended periods over past few years. There isn't much that truly explains why so many manufacturers had supplies cut down. I highly suspect that we have a bigger stockpile of medications than many think, and some of those manufacturers were or have been diverted to production of medications like these antivirals. Just like food, they need to control hording. Food supplies are holding up well. On top of that, we have American innovation. www.ktvq.com/news/coronavirus/billings-doctor-finds-inventive-way-to-help-with-shortage-of-medical-masks

Made a trip to Rapid City today. First stop was RDO Equipment, the John Deere dealer. They had it roped off so you couldn't get within 12 feet of the parts counter.
Second stop was Sam's Club. I was planning on picking up items to help take care of and fill the shopping list requests of basically 15 people. The reality was very different. No eggs, no poultry, no bacon or any other pork, last bag of sugar, no flour, no potatoes, very limited on dairy products and pre-packaged frozen foods, they had gotten in limited beef cuts. It was like Bernie Sanders was President. There was a limit of 1 on food items. I got what I could. Some things I didn't realize were limited and had to be put back on the shelf from the checkout. Just unreal. Talked to people that said it was pretty similar to that all over town. The guy that runs the feed store said that mineral may be hard to get before long.

You are about to get a really good look at what a Bernie presidency will look like. An overrun medical system that prioritizes patients, huge unemployment numbers with people living off the govt tit and very few working trying to keep it all going. Education is basically going to be free because your not getting one. They will be taking from those that have to give to those that don’t, they already are in the form of health care equipment. Remember this when people say “ Our government would never interfere with our freedom to run our business, they would never order us to stay where they tell us much less put troops on the streets to control our movement, they would never make the choice as to who gets health care and who doesn’t “ I have heard all of these reasons in the last month from those that vow they will vote for anybody but Trump and think Bernie has some really good ideas.
So he basically said today at the end of the 15 days f—- it back to work we go. Meanwhile our genius governor closed schools for the year, all businesses for 30 days and can’t have more than 10 people any where at a time but oh yeah private sector daycare should step up and take care of all these kids. Oh yeah our infection rate is less than .001% of population. Makes complete sense when you think about it. Desperate times lead to desperate people, will the death toll of the crime and violence be less than the disease? My guess is no.

I think we'll see more and more of this where there are medications that are already available and will be repurposed. From 2017... the headline is literal. www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2017/01/11/trump-on-drug-prices-pharma-companies-are-getting-away-with-murder/Benzimidazole anthelmetics were know to have anti-neoplastic effects since at least the 90's and I *think* it was even the 80's, but it wasnt pursued. That was public knowledge, not just inside trials which there are numerous. Why? The answer is complex. But big pharma, like big packing has been getting away with taking advantage of the American people by regulatory capture. Why wouldn't a smaller company pick up a generic and run a study to get it's use approved? Because it costs millions and unless approved, all that investment yields them nothing. I invested in a company that could have been a game changer in opiods and other over doses. Technology that regulated absorption no matter how many pills someone took. Now just imagine how many little kids that might save? That's besides curtailing opium abuse. Did it get approved? No. Company tanked. Sadly, I believe the opiod industry lobbying was the reason. They've been getting away with murder in more than one way.

Was busy today, but kind of seems like Hydroxychloroquine is almost yesterday's news already, on purpose. Hope I'm wrong.
