Most of the people in other parts of China outside the Wuhan area have now returned to work. Schools are still closed most places tho.

I will be satisfied looking at pictures. At least you've seen the ocean Darryl. I've met quite a few people who have never seen the ocean and a bunch that can't even swim. I enjoy traveling but there's enough for me to see right here in North America. I have seen the ocean 2 times while traveling at work. Never learned to swim and never been on a boat on the ocean. Flew a lot at work but only 1 time commercial. But i can climb some high mountains and chase some big bear with just a pistol. I live and I work in a remote area compared to some but wouldn't trade it for all of China.

I can get some decent Chinese food here and if Trump has his way we will have our own Great Wall although not as impressive as theirs, I give credit where credit is due. Not a lot of places off the North American continent I really have a desire to see and I like to travel. Only place I have less of a desire to visit is the Middle East.
I am with Kenny, give me some dogs treeing in the mountains and some cattle to push across some open country on horseback and I don’t care what the rest of the world has I got all I want right here.

Neither of those are going to be necessary. If you have built it, they will come (to you). All it takes is a single someone in your area to visit or be visited by someone else that Has been to a infection prone area, or visit a nearby area that has someone that has. Just one. The '7 degrees of separation' phenomenon. Think about the number of times each month you stop in for coffee somewhere...you know everyone in there? You know everyone that has been in there that morning? Truck drivers that have come from the next town or from across the nation? A 'degree of separation' is a measure of social distance between people. You are one degree away from everyone you know, two degrees away from everyone they know, and so on.

Suspected cases maybe, but I have been keeping pretty close tabs on where it's popped up and haven't seen anything about those 2 population centers.
Something that does not bode well is that a US Soldier in S. Korea has tested positive for it. We have 25,000 troops in S. Korea and the way the units are housed, work, and fed, the odds that this 1 soldier has NOT been in close contact with dozens (100s?) of other soldiers the last 2 weeks is extremely unlikely.

One day after Iran's Health Minister was on TV downplaying the seriousness of Covid19 in Iran, he tested positive for the disease. This means Iran's president Rouhani has been exposed to it as well. You can see the health minister sweating profiusely in the following videa where he was saying Iran had the illness under control. He was admitted to hospital two days later.
An interesting video as well:

Well, It's now the 2020s and way more people than the military are coming and going to different parts of the world. The most recent year that stats are available for show that 236,000,000 passengers (236 million) travelled into/out of the USA..on airplanes alone...in 2018. Divided by days in the year, that means (on average) that every day 646,573 people come into this country from a foreign land or go out of this country to a foreign land and I guarantee only a very very small % of those 1/2 million+ daily travelers are military. (The US only has 2.2 million active duty and reserve duty troops to begin with across all 5 branches of the services)
The USA currently has 62 confirmed cases of people that have Covid19 or have had it. As far as has been determined thus far, Only 1, is a military person, and that 1 may not be confirmed by test other than symptoms. He is in self quarantine in off base housing, Teagu S. Kore
Confirmed Cases by City, Province/State
44 confirmed (From Diamond Princess) US
2 confirmed Chicago, IL US
2 confirmed Sacramento County, CA US
2 confirmed San Benito, CA US
2 confirmed San Diego County, CA US
2 confirmed Santa Clara, CA US
1 confirmed Boston, MA US
1 confirmed Humboldt County, CA US
1 confirmed Los Angeles, CA US
1 confirmed Madison, WI US
1 confirmed Orange, CA US
1 confirmed San Antonio, TX US
1 confirmed Seattle, WA US
1 confirmed Tempe, AZ US
1 confirmed US Army. Camp Carroll, S. Korea

Greybeard you would be suprised at just how few people i see in a months time. I am a dam good hermit.
