With my main job im on call March and April unless its raining. Sure cuts in on the second job.
A 3 axle 32ft cattle trailer is going to Canada on Monday. Well at least to Minot, ND. We deliver to near the border and the Canadian dealer picks it up there.

bull trader, I remember calling a man in Canada, about a cattle oiler to keep the flies off. He must have been French Canadian, because I could not understand a word he was saying. I kept asking him to repeat himself until he hung up on me. I am not sure if he slowed down talking if I could have picked up on some of his words or not. But I hated that the communication was so bad. I can imagine he called me everything in the book when he hung up.
Sounds like a good road trip to me. Stay out of trouble. Are you seeing much of the rioting going on in all of your riding around the country.

Got hung up on I-75 in Cincinnati last week. But construction a d wrecks not riots. |

I go back to pulling in the next few days. This week the poor old Dodge has been to Conroy GA, Ocala FL, Gainesville GA, going to Gainsville, GA again tomorrow, Culpepper VA Saturday and somewhere in Maine Sunday. Mantee MS one day next week after he gets back from Maine. Finally getting materials to finish a few. Windows are very hard to get it seems.

Just got in from delivering a 4 horse with living quarters to Ocala FL. Everything was going good last night until I was almost through Atlanta and 6 lanes of traffic came to a standstill. Didnt move for quite a while and I almost fell asleep.
Way worse coming back today. Should have taken 10 hours and it took 13. Traffic was really bad in Atlanta but also Chattanooga and several other places. The other driver left Monday and delivered near Oklahoma city then left yesterday for Maine. He will be back tomorrow then to Ohio Saturday or Monday

Heading out Monday night going to Loris, South Carolina. Looks to be 20-30 miles from Myrtle Beach. Traveling at night to avoid the traffic.

Are you going to take a few extra hours to lay out on the beach? You sure are seeing a lot of beautiful country and making hundreds and thousands of dollars. Have you had anyone ask you if you are vaccinated yet in all of your travels?
What are you hauling to North Carolina this time? Being that close to Myrtle Beach, I am betting it has to do with camping.

Nobody has ask but I normally pack most of my food unless I'm going for several days. Pulling a horse trailer. Will get a picture before I unhook.

I was craving a good hamburger steak smothered in onions with a large order of straight cut steak fries last night. None of the crinkled cut ones. They seem to have no taste and soak up the oil. Ketchup with the fries please! Mmmmm!
Most places you stop and eat charge you a lot, but it cost a lot of money to eat on the road. But I might have to try that place out that Ebenezer is speaking of.
I would definitely have a can of hickory smoked Beenie Weenies in my sack. Would have a Cooler of Diet Coke, but now that they have told me that I am not the right color to drink them, I would have to find something new.
When I was on the road at night, I would buy a 2 Liter Diet Coke, and take my empty 20oz coke bottles, and rinse them out. Then pour my 2 Liter into those 20 oz bottles. It gave me all the cokes I would need for the 12 hour shift and the 400 mile trip. And often they had the 2 liters on sale for $2. Ha-ha!! Could not tell the difference either as they did not go flat. That saved a lot of money on the drinks. I do miss driving trucks a lot.

2 pots of coffee in my Stanley thermos. 2 bologna and cheese sandwiches. 3 Smuckers pb&j uncrustables, 4 bottles of water. Darn, seems like all I do is eat and drink.

The main goal is to stay awake. Eating can help with that. I had to put a stop to that. The cooler of Cokes helped a lot with that, and getting the Sirus radio and listening to the station that read books. It helped to occupy my mind on something.
I hate to admit that water just does not cut it for me. Iced tea would do just fine. But I prefer a cold drink that burns as it goes down. I guess that lets you know it is eating you from the inside out. ha-ha!! I don't drink the energy drinks such as Red Bull, etc... I would have to really do some digging and experimenting to find a new drink now.
I could drink a Diet Coke in place of coffee so easily. All I can say is that Coca Cola screwed up. I would be too embarrassed to drink it in public now. Not going to support their agenda either. It sends so many messages when you do.
