Glad to hear you went down to Florida. I hope the temps were warm here. You may be runnning the air some on days, then turning the heat back on the next day. What kind of truck are they giving you to haul the trailers in? Were pulling with a 2014 Dodge 3/4 ton with a 6.4 gas engine. When I parked last night it had 554,678 miles on it. 13,000 miles on it since Jan 6th Do you know what kind of oil they're using in it, and how often it gets changed? I'll bet the motor hasn't been messed with, but the transmission has. Just a guess. Does it still take DEF, or has it been deleted?

The title is "where am I?" If you don't know we're not telling you. Just keep going until you get the trailer dropped...

No clue on oil type. I check it is all I do. When I parked it Saturday it had almost 7,000 miles since the oil change. 10 days

I have never been lost. A few times I have not been sure where I was or how I to get back to where I knew where I was but not lost.
If your see palm trees yet still have an overwhelming desire to be out of there don’t panic your in Florida. They are good enough people you can stay til daylight then start with the sun to your right and never let it get in front of you. Drive til you don’t see palmetto bushes anymore. If you see palm trees but everything else looks dead, your screwed because you are in Southern California. Find east anyway you can and drive. Never ever be east of I81 and north of I 70 at the same time. Most everything else is ok to just enjoy yourself even if you are temporarily mislocated.

Pretty good advice. I can hardly wait to for good weather and a trip to South Dakota. I may get lost and take days to get back.

My wife won’t let me drive west of the Mississippi unattended or with all my guns. She knows that I will likely get amnesia and forget to come home. Anything within 200 mi. of the Rocky Mts. she has to be in the truck because she knows one of these days that will be a one way trip. The Badlands out there are worth taking a day or two extra as are the Black Hills. God I love that western country.

It has warmed back up and I hope you don't run into a lot of rain. That is one good way to see parts of the country that you have not seen before. That would be 90% of it for me. Be careful!

80 at 9am yesterday morning in Ocola. Was going up to 89. Leaves are out and so were the bugs. Stopped and seen High Grit and his family on the way back. Stopped near Athens GA and picked up a trailer that had a window leaking and brought it back to repair. 1450 miles total. Almost too much for an old man.

Watch out for the crazies. They need to make a map for where rioting and stupidity is gathering by the numbers to warn people to stay away. That way you could detour the areas you don't want to get caught up in.
