they just went to bed at 4 . they don't wake up until 12 when jerry springer starts being played.

What did the area look like? Was a lot of it boarded up or bars on all the windows like in Memphis? I always think of a deserted concrete jungle when I think of Detroit. I have never been there.

It wasn't really boarded up but actually just falling down. Windows broken out and junk everywhere. The mounted police location was in a city park and it was very nice. A big apartment complex was across the street. But a block away it was really ran down. |

You think about what a waste of space when they let buildings go to waste for what ever reason they do. But no one wants to go back to that area and face the problems that brought it down in the first place.

Heading to Jesup, GA Sunday night for a Monday morning delivery. Going to Detroit later in the week if the roof vents come in and they can finish the trailer.

They make sure that you are going to keep the roads hot for sure. Lots of really bad weather pushing through and they spoke of how there was just a short distance between the winter storm warning and the tornado storm warning. They said there was 100 miles distance between the tornado warning and the winter storm warning. They remarked at how overly close the two were and that is was very uncommon. So don't let an weather sneak up on you.

bull trader, I meant to ask you if you got a peek at their horses? I know your trip is about the equipment and the money, but I just wondered?
I had wondered what kind of horses they used there. I picture in my mind a horse with either a lot of draft influence or draft cross.

I did see a couple of the horses. Yes very heavy draft influence it appeared.
