My Acclaims were slow coming on. They are not the biggest or nicest of the group but they are nice. Got a pair of 3/4 sisters. 1 is out of a Bismarck other is out of Bismarck's dam that is a TCA Accruel x Power Tool. They are changing faster than the rest of the bunch tho.

We had one that looked like a little stud early on but the others were just “eh”. They’re really hitting a sweet spot now and it’ll be interesting to see how they continue. I’d say the same for the Epics. We’ve been less than impressed but they’re starting to be a lot more put together now. We plan to wean the 1st week of August but May keep them a little longer if our grass continues to do well.

All your mommas look like that? She looks as solid as the calf is. He keeps growing, momma will have to get on ladder for him to nurse thru August.

I would say though, we chose her as a recip because we felt she could handle an Acclaim, whom we expected could really bring down a cow if they didn't milk good. She's a champ!

Another good one. Looked a little 'tight' in the rear walking but then I realized he was walking downhill. How old is this one?

It’s so hard to get these guys not on the move. I have a girl that I’m just in love with but I’m afraid as much as she hides from me, she may have some temperament down the road (Discovery calf).

We brought one of the flushmates home last night cuz he happened to stick around with another calf we had to take to vet and this fella seemed a little droopy in the ear.
Treated him, just in case. Put him across the scale. 567lbs and he was born 02/10. We'll be weaning them all before long which is somewhat unfortunate because he could use another few weeks on pasture for his 205. But I was impressed! He's probably the smallest of the flush group.
