I'm good with the staff picking one, but tho it may not mean much to them (or it may) there does need to be some way to recognize those that contribute greatly of their own experience to the CATTLE part. I've already nominated you as chief meteorologist... |

I reckon if you just let everyone pick their own rank after a few post. It'll get a little silly. I think it should probably be decided by committee based on merit, not just post numbers. And not just done on the nilly Willy. Silly is fine for a day. But if your in for the long haul I would place titles where they are earned. And with some discretion. You can take mine if you need to. At least I won't have to buy 3lt that pocket knife.

Actually the first sentence of the first paragraph of our declaration of Independence. Penned by the great dumbcrow on July 4th 2019. States that all posters are equal. Does this not make any ranking system a violation of our rights.??

Some people have a custom title at this point. The amount of stars are just tracking post count. The vote was for mods to pick a name so until something stands out its pretty much eqaul at this time. |

Some forums (cumminsforum for example) has a "like" button that doesn't do much of anything except show who liked that post, but also has a "Thanks" button which kinda provides karma, homie points, or whatever you want to call it and the number of "thanks" is displayed for the user
