Tested it out today. A lot better than paddling. Pretty much hands free so you can fish more. Probably go up the creek for sandbass tomorrow

Nice cover around the shoreline. I would be pitchin a plastic worm but you may not have any black bass? Is there some smallmouths?

Nice crappie. We have some dandy's in the watershed. I remember you said someone caught a huge one out of it. I wish my pond was big enough for crappie but it’s only 4-5 acres and they advised me not to put them in there

Not sure what part of OK you're from but we're just north of the boarder.

My first territory was in Kansas and loved it. I haven’t up there in years. If I make up that way I’ll bring my fishing rod

Caught this one and another that was a little smaller last week before the weather changed. Had a strange yellow tint to it's belly. Right before dark on a top water bait.

I’ve fished it for bass some but I haven’t figure it out yet. I plan on trying it again this fall Fishing report “ Bass, Largemouth Action: Good Baits: Top Water, and rattletraps and swimming a Carolina rig with lizard Locations: Main lake Additional Information: White bass fair on grubs and spoons. Crappie good on jigs around docks and at 21 ft. around brush piles.” I I really thought I could tigger a top water bite early morning and late evening but I never I got a single bite. I’ve thrown everything I have at them and only caught small ones, really small. My next attempt will be a shaky head, spoon and wacky rig. That’s the only 3 I haven’t tried.

Greybeard that fish looks at least two pounds underweight. Probably since it has been so dry the pond has lost all its cover and nothing for them to eat. Kind of like my cows.
Cross, try a plastic frog around any grass or moss if you have any.
