Like 90% of what they put on there now it is the media crying wolf to get ratings. Is it potentially serious sure, should the public be aware absolutely but this constant promotion of panic is helping nothing. 120,000 cases world wide is a drop in the bucket when compared to the population.

With the common flu affecting 45 million in the US and 46 thousand dying from it since October, The Corona virus has affected 800 in the US and 27 deaths so far, I think the medias 24 hour a day lip service on this isn't helping much. Makes zero difference whether the media mentions it or not. It will still spread just as fast or faster regardless of the media and the same # of people are going to die...(and this is what most people are missing or ignoring) .... IN ADDITION TO the number of people that die from the flu. One person lost to an artificially designed virus is one too many. I hate that you have to worry about it GB. And it angers me that the media progandizes it. But it angers me more that they didn't say much of anything about the artificially designed drugs that were also targeted against our kids for years. If they had spent a 10th of the effort reporting on that, it might have saved thousands of lives. All that Fentanyl from the Chinese Communist Party wasn't by chance. And it was far more effective. |

The virus is hard on older folks with health issues. This could potentially wipe out the #1 and the #2 Dem candidates if they get it. Trump is protecting them and all they do is criticize. Go figure.

If one is talking about the mental/emotional effect then I suppose people will think what they are going to think. None of what anyone, including the media thinks is going to have any effect on the virus being spread.
Considering the long incubation period and the fact that an infected person can shed the virus very early (well before being symptomatic) and for up to 2 weeks AFTER recovery, I wouldn't read too much into how many cases there are in any one state, city or even region.

Not really sure what you mean about emotional, but I dont want anyone affected by any disease, no matter age,or country that you're from, but this one must be the mother of all, over mumps,measles, bird flu, sars,west Nile,aids,herpes, just say when to stop, another great one y2k, pretty much stopped every thing,and this one will top them all, every thing is shut down and business will go bankrupt, guess we should all go underground, started in china and they did so much to contain it,why would they,when there sorry ass country is doing so bad, why not drag everyone else down with them.
