Once we enter the gate there is 15,000 acres that not even the game warden can get in to. Bring a cannon if you want to

That’s a nice one Kenny! He has a great head on him. Y’all are doing a lot better than we are. Nothing but small ones here so far. I would love to have that cabin behind him too that’s awesome!

Bring your butt down here and go with us. The cabin is at the bottom of the mountain and probably 10 of the bear dogs stay there. Doors are always open just in case. Next week someone is hunting every day except Christmas.

Thanks for the invite Kenny. I know I can’t get down this week but sure wish I could. I am not sure about next week but I will see if I can put anything together. If we can’t work it out this season I would sure like to plan ahead and get down there a few days next season.

Yesterday sucked, ran one in a hole. today wad a little better. Seen 3 and could have killed a 200# at 30 yards. Didn't shoot.

Bear hunting isn't any different than any other type of hunting, things can change quickly. We rode for hours trying to strike a bear and within a few minutes the dogs struck 3 different bears. One bear was a non resident but the dogs chased him back to Kentucky. I like bear hunting everyone has plenty to eat.

Like the bears we are all eating good. They found the last dogs about 3 hours after we left last night

All over with but the crying now. Wasn’t our best year by far but was good. Never got on anything over 200# and didn’t run as many as we have before but had some good chases, spent some good days wandering the mountains so all is good. Hope Grit had fun and got to see one up close. We will definitely have to plan for a couple days to get together next season. Hope y’all wound the year up on a good note Kenny and had some good chases.

Here we go again Kenny! I am getting the twitch and going balls to the wall to get stuff done because next Monday I quit! Haven’t seen Grit on here in awhile, is he coming up to hunt this year? Hope ya’ll have a lot of fun and some good chases. I want pics if they are over 500!

I called him today and he said he would be here late in the season. Lots of acorns low so they should be fat and easier to find. Snow up on top this morning. High in the 30's up there next Monday

Should be good weather to go hunting in. Always amazed at the difference there can be between here and there. Glad Grit is planning to make the trip. You got a lot of time off this year to go?
